Branson
So this past weekend i was in Branson with my family. We had fun, and went to many places like Silver Dollar City and White Water. But one of the most intriguing things we went to was Noah, the Musical at Sight and Sound Theater. It was overall very good, especially the special effects. At one point, they took up these curtains on the side to reveal the inside of the Ark!!! It was a really cool show, and I encourage you to check it out. Not only was it awesome, it had a new revelation to me. Before the show, they mentioned that Jesus had said "So it was in Noah's day, so it will be in the coming of the Son of Man." So when i heard that, i thought about the story of Noah as it played before my eyes. I saw so many connections between the Ark and Jesus, between the times then, and the times now. At the end of the show, Jesus comes out of the Ark (well now it's not the Ark anymore, it has transitioned into a cross.) and explaines that He is the door, just as the the only way onto Noah's Ark was to belive in Jehovah and walk through the door. I found this very inspiring to go and be diciples and spread the Word of God, so that everyone I come into contact with can walk through the door. If that alone wasn't enough to get me pumped about Jesus, they also played a track of the people in the nearby city drowning as they knocked upon the door of the Ark, begging Noah to let them in. Friends, brothers, even mothers were pleading Noah to allow them passage on their massive vessal, and all Noah and his family could do was weep for them. It will be the same in the last days as Jesus saves those who belive in him, as he will save them and leave the others behind. What a sad realization. All those people will die or know what it means to truly die. That is why Jesus gave us the Great Commission. Go and make diciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
